Bruce Jack Clean Slate Shiraz 2018

When you read the story of Bruce Jack and you enjoy his wine, you will be energised when you taste what can be done in such a short period of time. Bruce Jack's own label wines are like the new kid on the block but a very talented kid.

The wine has a ruby colour with a deep inky centre. Its flavour jumps out of the glass: jammy black and red fruits, perfume, and spices. It has a smooth entry and develops for a long time on the palate, delivering from the nose with the jammy black fruits, perfume and black pepper, further developing to leather and meatiness and a smooth finish of fynbos. It retains its crisp and clean acidity throughout. One sip and you will realise that you have an amazing wine in your glass.

This is one of the best Shiraz wines I've had in a long time. It comes at a steep price but it will be worth every cent! This is certainly a must-try for anyone who wants to try a fantastic Syrah! This wine is available from Partners in Wine.
