The Delaire Graff Cabernet Franc Rosé is produced in the same way as the Sauvignon Blanc in order to maintain the freshness of the wine. The grapes, that were surprised by a wet and cold growing season, were picked from Helshoogte and Helderberg Mountain and left on the primary lees. The result is a dry rosé with a pale pink colour and a fresh nose of strawberries and blackberries. It delivers a medium-bodied wine on the palate with strawberries, raspberries, candyfloss and black pepper. The black pepper develops into the finish of this wine, leaving a fresh acidity behind.
This is one of the more expensive rosé wines that are available in South Africa. It should be served chilled. It will pair well with a herb salad with rocket, black pepper and feta cheese.
