Mischa Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

I have done it to myself again! Every time that I open a Mischa Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, I ‘regret’ pulling the cork. As much as you want to share this wine with other people, you might feel that you want to hide it in a cupboard and keep it all to yourself.

This wine has a beautifully, deep red colour with a garnet centre and a purple rim. The smell of this wine is fantastic. It is complex with mulberries, red and black berries, vanilla and a sweet smell of candyfloss. One is amazed by the very soft entry of this rather young wine, developing into a complex wine with hints of berries, plums, Christmas cake and dark fruit jam. The tannins are soft but firm enough to maintain a good structure in the wine. It finishes smoothly with perfume and vanilla from the French and American oak.

Only 730 cases of 6 bottles per case was produced. This is a fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon and should be tried by everyone who appreciate a complex and fragrant wine. It has the potential to age for another 10 years. It can be enjoyed on its own, or with a hearty dish such as grilled lamb or chicken.
